This week on My Design Rules, there’s no time to rest as the duos start work on their main bedroom and bathroom.
It’s double the stress as they juggle the challenge of designing both spaces at the same time, and with 2 guest judges to impress, Architectural Designer Bryce Henderson, from Studio BHD and CTM’S Carla Kuhn, they’re going to have to pull out all the stops.
The duos start the challenge with an inspiration tour of one of guest judge, Architectural Designer Bryce Henderson’s designs. The incredible apartment, located in Clifton, is the perfect balance of light, luxury and comfort and the duos take the opportunity to inspect every corner of Bryce’s design and learn from his experience.
Clifton is one of a handful of suburbs on the Atlantic Seaboard, an area that has seen property prices soar over recent years, due the high demand both locally and internationally. We got the inside scoop from luxury property specialist, Jo Lombard from Seeff, to learn what makes this area one of South Africa’s property investment hotspots.
The duos then head to CTM, to meet their other guest judge, Carla Kuhn, and explore the wide range of options available to them.
