House Signature Chenin – Ronelle Scholtz (26) & Tiaan Jacobs (35) 

Cape Town’s “architects turned challengers.” Tiaan from Durbanville and Ronelle from Bellville first met while studying architecture and have stayed connected ever since. Their design philosophy merges technical precision with soulful touches. Tiaan moonlights as a DJ, bringing rhythm to his creative process, while Ronelle is preparing for her upcoming wedding – making their journey on My Design Rules even more meaningful this season.

The PJ lounge is where you unwind before retiring to your bedrooms for the evening. We wanted to celebrate local artists in this space, creating a final glimpse into creativity before going to bed. This space features a soft couch to relax on and spend some time with your family, creating an unforgettable experience with memories to last a lifetime. We played around with different new wood variations, and set the scene for the upstairs rooms. This room is one of our favourites thus far, and we wanted to share the joy of creativity with everyone that enters the space.
